Christie Clinic Opens Vein and Vascular Center

Christie Clinic is pleased to announce a new comprehensive service line that consists of five Vein and Vascular Specialists. Vascular Specialists within the Christie Clinic Vein & Vascular Center offer comprehensive vascular services for all vascular disorders including varicose veins, aneurysms, stroke, poor circulation and other diagnoses related to the arteries and veins. The areas of expertise include state-of-the-art diagnosis and management of vascular disease.

Dr. Jennifer Ash earned her medical degree from Southern Illinois Medical School in Springfield in 2003. From 2003-2008, she completed her residency in General Surgery at University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, Illinois. In 2010, she completed specialized fellowship training in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois. Dr. Ash is Board Certified in General Surgery and Vascular/Endovascular Surgery.

Dr. Ravishankar Hasanadka earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2002. From 2002-2009, he completed his residency in General Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. In 2011, he completed specialized fellowship training in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois. Dr. Hasanadka is Board Certified in General Surgery and Vascular/Endovascular Surgery.

Dr. Syed Hussain earned his medical degree from Loyola’s Stritch School of Medicine in 1999. From 2000-2004, he completed his residency in General Surgery at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, Illinois. In 2006, he completed specialized fellowship training in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois. Dr. Hussain is Board Certified in General Surgery and Vascular/Endovascular Surgery.

Sherri Morrison received her Associate in Applied Science of Nursing from Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg, Illinois. She received her Bachelor of Applied Science, Physician Assistant from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. She has been a physician extender in the field of vascular and endovascular surgery since 2008.
Trisha Stetzler received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing in Peoria, IL. She has been a physician extender in the field of vascular and endovascular surgery since 2012.
